Information we collect

When you submit the early-access form, we collect what you provide: your name, business name, business email, and industry and state, along with any optional details you choose to add, such as phone number, revenue range, years in business, capital needs, financing timeline, and how you heard about AERA.

When a financial institution contacts us through our institutions form, we collect the name, institution, job title, work email, optional phone number, and message submitted.

We also collect basic technical information automatically: page views, which buttons you click, whether a form was started or submitted, general referral information (such as UTM campaign parameters, the page you landed on, and the referring site), and your browser's user agent. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. Your IP address is converted into a one-way hash before storage — we do not store or view raw IP addresses.

How we use information

We use submitted information to evaluate interest in AERA, understand what industries and needs we're hearing from, respond to institution inquiries, and contact selected businesses about participating in an early pilot. Aggregate, non-identifying versions of this information (like counts by industry or referral source) are used internally to understand which channels and audiences are engaging with AERA.

When information may be shared

We do not sell your information. It is visible only to authorized AERA administrators. If you are invited to participate in an early pilot, relevant business information you've provided may be shared with a specific participating financial institution as part of that pilot — only with your knowledge, and only in that context. We may also share information if required to comply with a legal obligation.

Data retention

We retain submitted information for as long as it's useful to operate the early-access program and evaluate pilot participation. You can request that we delete your information at any time (see “Your choices” below).

Security practices

We apply reasonable technical safeguards to protect submitted information, including encrypted connections, server-side validation, rate limiting, and restricted database access. A full description of these controls is available on our Security page.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, request a correction, or request deletion at any time by emailing jaiden@aerafinance.cloud. We'll respond and act on reasonable requests promptly.
